I am thinking that I fell a little behind in my goal to read one book a month in 2012! And with good reason kinda, we moved from PA to Texas and then I met another Beachbody coach on facebook when I did a search for others in the Lufkin Texas area and she is involved in a local woman gym here and I was asked if id be interested in maybe taking over some classes so I decided to give it a shot and so for the month of April i was reading the study material for becoming a certified group exercises instructor! I have to admit that even tho I have been hearing stuff about health and fitness and preaching it as well, it was really a refresher course to be learning about it in this study material! Carbs really are important! This is something that I didn’t know anything about before getting involved with Beachbody! I always figured that it didn’t really matter what we ate as long as we stayed with in a certain calorie goal! I would often hear of ppl going on a low or no carb diet and high proteins but our bodies cant use all that extra protein so its pretty much just wasted! However, our body uses whole grain carbs to energy and just for proper over all health and out body uses a lot of it so we need lots of good carbs! Some ppl are sensitive to whole grain carbs and altho they are the best choice but you also have veggies, fruits and beans so it just takes a little creativity but definitively dont be one of those people that say “I don’t eat carbs” That is actually a very scary thought!!
Anyway, I did the Fitour and passed my test and I am now a certified Group Exercise Instructor! I am right now working on a 45 minute combo routine! I plan to video take it as another way of practicing it this week!
